In his first Direction, actor Madhavan has taken the story such a risk and he is living as Nambi Narayanan by relying on it. Madhavan has proved that he can impress the fans by giving a pure biopic, without any commercial compromises.
The cruelties of turning Nambi Narayanan into a traitor who should have been celebrated by the nation as a better scientist and who invents the “Vikas” engine for the space development of our Indian nation.
Nambi Narayanan (Madhavan) accepts the request of his guru Vikram Sarabhai to be hired by NASA for a big salary and works at ISRO. His work is seen as immense at a time when India is keen to achieve astounding growth in space research. During the rocket launch using solid fuel, the scientist, proved that the rocket can be driven to a greater distance with liquid fuel and at one point invents the “Vikas” engine for India. Real reliance on climax brought Nambi Narayanan life beautifully. Madhavan’s movement, acting, and verses are a big plus for the film. when the Supreme Court acquitted Narayanan after a 30-year legal battle. Madhavan raised the question “If I am not the culprit, then who is the culprit? There he lived as real Nambi Narayanan. It is not known how well the rocket science used in the film is connected to the general audience. Big credit to Madhavan for every frame of his work and for telling the story of Nambi Narayanan, a great scientist, who lost his life without any emotion.
