Ponniyin’s Selvan refers to the rise of the Chola dynasty. The story sets the period before the son of river Kaveri, later known as Rajaraja Chola. The film is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies. Ponniyin Selvan-part1 will release in multiple languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The first look poster of Aditya karikalan was released today. Promotions for Ponniyin’s Selvan kicked off this week with the release of the first look poster of Chiyaan Vikram. As announced earlier, Vikram will play the role of Aditya Karikalan in the film. In the poster, he looked stern and majestic like a prince of the Chola dynasty. Ponniyin Selvan is based on the Tamil literary novel written by Kalki Krishnamurthy.
